Our Commitments

Ethics & Safety Charter

BAM is a peer-supported wellness practice. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our clinical partnerships and community programs are built on a foundation of strict ethical boundaries and safety protocols.

1. No Active Crisis Intervention

We do not interview or enrol people in active addiction or acute crisis. BAM is a complementary practice for the stabilization and maintenance phases of recovery, or for high-stress professionals seeking preventative regulation.

2. Autonomy and Choice

Every participant completes our EcoPet Suitability Questionnaire. If the data indicates that a living ecosystem is not a match for their baseline, we do not force the intervention. Complete autonomous choice is built into the protocol.

3. Animal Welfare

We operate a closed-loop supply chain. Animals are sourced from vetted captive breeders. We do not work with wild-caught specimens or mass-breeding facilities. We maintain three vetted breeders for every targeted genetic line.

Return Protocol: If a participant can no longer care for their ecosystem, we have a return protocol to ensure the animal is rehomed ethically. No animal is abandoned or released into the wild.

4. Transparency

Our Ethics Charter is public. We clearly state that we are not a licensed medical, psychological, or veterinary provider. Every clinical pilot is conducted in partnership with licensed providers, never as a standalone intervention.

5. Clinical Partnership Standards

When working with therapists and rehabilitation centres, we adhere to the following:
