General
What is BAM?

BAM (Biophilic Anchor Method) is a peer-supported, sensory-first wellness protocol. It uses living ecosystems — moss jars, bioactive terrariums, nano aquariums, and polished minerals — to regulate the nervous system through the senses. The method is structured around three pillars: Observe, Tend, Mirror.

Is BAM a medical therapy?

No. BAM is a wellness practice, not a medical treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our clinical pilots are always conducted in partnership with licensed providers, never as a standalone intervention. We are transparent about this in our Ethics Charter.

How much does an ecosystem cost?

Our products range from $35 (Anchor Stone) to $550 (Bioactive Terrarium). The most popular entry point is the Moss Jar at $85–$125. See our Products page for the full catalog.

Who can use BAM?

Anyone. BAM was designed for people who want to regulate their nervous system without relying on willpower or talk therapy alone. Our composite profiles include a 14-year-old student, a 38-year-old marketing director, and a 71-year-old retired teacher. Any age. Any stage. Real change.

Products & Services
What is the difference between a Moss Jar and a Bioactive Terrarium?

A Moss Jar is a sealed micro-ecosystem with moss, springtails, and a decorative mineral. It requires minimal maintenance (a misting every 1-2 weeks). A Bioactive Terrarium is a larger, open ecosystem with plants, substrate, isopods, and optionally a peaceful reptile like a corn snake. It requires daily observation and weekly maintenance.

Do I need to feed the animals?

Springtails and isopods feed on decaying plant matter — they are self-sustaining. If you have a reptile, you will need to feed it according to the species care guide provided with your terrarium. We provide detailed printed instructions and video support.

What if my ecosystem dies?

We offer a 30-day health guarantee on all living systems. If your ecosystem fails within 30 days due to a pre-existing issue, we will replace it. After 30 days, we provide ongoing troubleshooting support through the Anchor Club.

Do you offer in-home setup?

Yes. In-home setup is available in Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area starting at $250. Our certified facilitator will deliver, install, and teach you the maintenance protocol. Book a consultation to learn more.

Facilitators
How do I become a Certified BAM Facilitator?

Apply to our 4-week intensive program. You will learn clinical foundations, biological architecture, operational logistics, and complete a paid client engagement under supervision. Tuition is $2,500. Ongoing licensing is $300/month. See the Facilitators page for full details.

Do I need a clinical background to become a facilitator?

No. BAM is a peer-supported wellness practice, not a clinical intervention. You need to be an ethical, driven individual who is willing to complete the training and follow the Ethics Charter. Many of our facilitators come from non-clinical backgrounds.

What territories are available?

Territories are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis upon certification. We are currently seeking facilitators in Simcoe County, the GTA, and other Ontario regions. Territory exclusivity is available for a premium.

Partners
How do I become a BAM vendor or breeder?

Apply through our Partners page. We vet all breeders for ethical husbandry, captive-bred animals, and verified lineage. Once approved, you join our closed-loop supply chain.

Do you offer wholesale or consignment?

Yes. We offer wholesale (40–50% off retail) and consignment (you keep 30–40% of retail, zero upfront cost) for pet stores, garden centres, and wellness boutiques. See the Partners page for pricing.

Clinical & Charity
How do clinical pilots work?

We partner with therapists, rehabilitation centres, and clinical facilities to run 90-day pilots. We provide the ecosystems, training, and evaluation framework. You provide the participants and clinical oversight. Outcomes are measured using the GAD-7 anxiety scale. See the Clinical page for details.

How do I donate to the charity arm?

The Biophilic Anchor Foundation is currently in the process of registering for CRA charitable status. In the meantime, you can support the mission through Ko-fi. Once charitable status is granted, all donations will receive a tax receipt. See the Impact page for details.

Where does my donation go?

60% funds free programs (jars, stones, workshops), 20% funds evaluation and research, 15% covers administration, and 5% supports fundraising. We publish an annual report with full financials.
