A peer-supported, sensory-first wellness protocol for therapists, rehabilitation centres, and clinical partners. We do not replace clinical care. We provide the physical infrastructure that makes clinical care easier to receive.
Talk therapy is essential, but it relies heavily on cognitive processing. For patients in recovery, or those suffering from severe burnout, the nervous system is often too dysregulated to "think" its way to calm.
BAM provides a physical, non-verbal entry point. You sit near a living system. You watch it. You touch a smooth stone. The body settles without needing to articulate the trauma or the stress. It is a bottom-up approach to regulation.
When a patient's nervous system is anchored by a daily sensory protocol, they arrive at their therapy sessions with a lower baseline of anxiety. BAM acts as scaffolding, making the clinical work more accessible and effective.
We partner with your facility to run a structured 90-day pilot program. We provide the physical ecosystems, the facilitator training, and the evaluation framework. You provide the clinical oversight and the participant cohort.
Participants complete the EcoPet Suitability Questionnaire and the GAD-7 anxiety scale. We match each participant with the appropriate BAM ecosystem (Desk Stone, Moss Jar, or Bioactive Terrarium).
Participants engage in the daily 1-5 minute BAM protocol (Observe, Tend, Mirror). Your clinical staff check in weekly. We provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the living systems.
Participants complete the post-intervention GAD-7. We compile the data, produce a white paper, and present the findings to your team to determine if a permanent installation is warranted.
BAM is a peer-supported wellness practice. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our clinical partnerships are built on a foundation of strict ethical boundaries and safety protocols.
1. No active crisis intervention. We do not interview or enrol people in active addiction or acute crisis. BAM is a complementary practice for the stabilization and maintenance phases of recovery, or for high-stress professionals seeking preventative regulation.
2. Autonomy and Choice. Every participant completes our Suitability Questionnaire. If the data indicates that a living ecosystem is not a match for their baseline, we do not force the intervention. Complete autonomous choice is built into the protocol.
3. Animal Welfare. We operate a closed-loop supply chain. Animals are sourced from vetted captive breeders. If a participant can no longer care for their ecosystem, we have a return protocol to ensure the animal is rehomed ethically.
4. Transparency. Our Ethics Charter is public. We clearly state that we are not a licensed medical provider. Every clinical pilot is conducted in partnership with licensed providers, never as a standalone intervention.
Includes the Ethics Charter, the EcoPet Suitability Questionnaire, the GAD-7 pilot framework, and the BAM Impact Report.

We are currently seeking clinical partners in Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area to run our first 90-day GAD-7 pilots. If your facility serves high-stress professionals, recovery patients, or seniors, we want to hear from you.
